A fascinating Tsujita Ceiling Installation awaits admirers in the interior of the Tsujita restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Japanese designer Takeshi Sano worked on this project with passion and a desire to integrate art in the interior design. The ceiling design gathers 25 thousands wooden sticks in a pattern, creating an atmosphere dominated by its majestic appearance. The cloud-shaped design has to emphasize its own beauty and mystery. The ceiling was designed to create a feeling of visiting Japan. This is explained by the designer: “I’d like people to feel the delicate of beauty, which Japanese have, and Japanese atmosphere when they visit here so that they will think that they want to visit Japan. I’d like to make this restaurant as one of an element for Japanese reconstruction.” What do you think about this idea to transform a ceiling into a work of art?
